The project involves a significant transformation of the 37-story hotel building into residential units. FMC Structural is responsible for the structural design, including slab infill, upgrading the existing floor and roof slabs, new slab openings for stairs & MEP penetrations, cutting shear walls, partially re-skinning the existing facade, and mechanical equipment.
FMC will provide construction administration services throughout the project. This includes reviewing RFI's and shop drawings and performing site visits during construction to ensure that all design aspects are implemented smoothly and successfully.
