Structural Engineer
We are looking for a team-focused, highly motivated Structural Engineer for our firm in Rockville, Maryland.
Responsibilities
Work closely with Project Manager and perform delegated design items
Work closely with the drafter and delegate drafting items
Complete structural design calculations and make recommendations
Provide detailed specifications and drawings for proposed solutions
Work directly with clients to coordinate drawings and meet project needs
Perform construction-related services, including shop drawing reviews, and responses to requests for information.
Periodic construction site observation
Qualifications
B.S. in Civil/Structural engineering required
Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred
F.E. / P.E. preferred
Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, Ram Concept, ETABS, and structural engineering software is preferred
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
