Located in one of the oldest residential neighborhoods in D.C., the property at 331 15th Street NE has a rich history, previously serving as a church and later abandoned. The current project involves transforming the existing building through alterations and additions into an 8-unit, 47-room co-living space.

In this project, FMC takes on the vital role of providing comprehensive structural design services. This includes overseeing the careful demolition of the existing structure while ensuring the preservation of the front and party walls, as well as designing the necessary underpinning. Additionally, FMC is responsible for the design of the new addition, seamlessly integrating it with the existing structure.
