A six-story residential development with 159 units and below-grade parking. The project included the revitalization of a one-story commercial strip and the restoration of Victorian house-apartment-hostels. The development features 16 inclusionary zoning units, 23 parking spaces, and 53 bicycle spaces.
FMC is tasked with the structural design of the new 5-story building, which includes a wood structure spanning five stories atop a concrete podium slab on the first floor. Additionally, FMC performed a snow drift analysis for the neighboring buildings to ensure their structural integrity.
Furthermore, FMC will continue to provide construction administration services throughout the project. This includes reviewing RFI's and shop drawings and performing site visits during construction to ensure that all design aspects are implemented smoothly and successfully.
