Meley Mengstu, PE

Meley is a Project Manager for FMC Structural. Before joining FMC, he was a project manager for FMC & Associates' material testing and inspection dept.

Meley is involved in designing and renovating residential, high-rise, mixed-use, schools and universities, hospitals, bridges, commercial, industrial, civil, reservoirs, hotels, garages, office buildings, and interior renovations. He has experience in conventional concrete, post-tensioned, wood framing, and structural steel buildings using advanced computer programs (RAM concept, spColumn, Etabs, Javelin, Revit, AutoCAD, and RAM Steel.

His responsibilities include structural analysis and design, investigation and evaluation of existing structures for renovation and conversion to other uses, and upgrading existing structures. Meley has extensive experience in the use of major structural engineering software for both analysis and design.

EDUCATION: BSc in Civil Engineering.
