Daniel is a structural draftsman for FMC Structural. This includes residential, high-rise, mixed-use, schools and universities, hospitals, arenas, airports, embassies, commercial, industrial, civil, rehabilitations, hotels, garages, office buildings, and interior renovations. He has experience in various building materials such as reinforced concrete, pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, and wood construction.
His responsibilities include structural drafting from tasks assigned and producing construction documents from information provided by Project Managers and Design Engineers within established time budgets. Produced Structural Floor Plans, sections, and Details from Architectural Drawings. Notify Project Managers and Design Engineers immediately if structural markups disagree with other disciplines or details do not agree with plans. Looked for time-saving methods and techniques continuingly.
Before joining FMC, he worked for various structural engineering firms, including seven years with Tadjer Cohen Edelson & Associates in Silver Spring, Maryland, and two years with Amman & Whitney, Inc., Washington DC. Three years with SK & A Structural Engineers, PLLC in Washington DC, six years with Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered in Silver Spring, MD, three years with Cagley & Associates in Rockville, MD, three years with Shaffer Batta Associates, Inc., in Gaithersburg MD and seven years as Field Engineer with A G & P Steel, Marine, and Structures Group Philippines.
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and AutoCAD Drafting Graduate.
